well... I think there's something wrong with me. And I believe it's called depression. I've been feeling really down, lost interest in work, irritable and lack of energy for the last few months. Had it really bad during the mid-year exam period and guess i haven't recovered fully yet. The doctor confirmed recently that I'm suffering from mild depression and anxiety problems. She thinks it's due to med school, Singapore Assoc, Jap classes and my external business degree. Now taking St John's Wort (an herbal anti-depressant) and making lifestyle changes... hopefully it works. Doctor wanted me to go for counselling but still thinking about that. I don't think I'm that sick... yet... I wish I'm home now though. The friends here are all hitched and spending time with their respective partners to really care about me. I can be wrong (coz of my current mental state) but that's really how I feel now. Never thought I would feel this way... something must be really wrong with me... sigh...

I will be free in (hopefully slightly) less than 48 hours. :D Meanwhile...I'm juz trying to tahan.

Have my 3rd interview with ministry of home affairs next week before I see you guys!! So can tell u all all about it.

Weilin, the photos look damn good. Sorry for throwing the meeting up thing on you so suddenly, but really no time la. This week is really shitty. Sorry la, haven't had the time or mood to blog recently cos work just sucks big time. I need to leave my job, but no balls or energy to. Heh. Going thru like a major crisis in my life, in trying to dealing with this bloody job... makes me stay late, and end up taking shit from colleagues. They don't even pay me enuff.

Sigh, so anyway.....my b'day is coming...haha.... if I can spend tt weekend not doing any work and actually feeling happy, it'd be quite a miracle.

i'm back from Sibu, Sarawak... pretty much enjoyed the trip... very relaxing... no hassle in travelling as there's not much tourist spots to see... so mainly i was there to eat n eat n eat n sleep..... the vicious cycle then continues..... ::::(

however, there are lotsa delicious food there... most importantly, they are all very cheap!!!

jus having a snack at a coffee shop!! the piece i'm feeding ah bui is goreng pisang... nice nice n cheap cheap.. 5big pieces for RM$1.... total price for the 3plates of food on e table only cost RM$3... so dirt cheap!!! aaahhhhhhh..... 

having some local food at a malay kampong... (more food to be served though)... these are jus the appetizers!! 

me eating 'kumua' or rather 'kuan lao mian' ... nice nice... haf that for lunch everyday of the 4 days i was there!!! kekekek

sianz.... today is a bad day... think my luck is really down these few days or the past wk... nothing really seems to be going my way!

my patient fell today at therapy session.... a 'taboo' in my occupation!!!! he's alright though, still walking ard in the ward n hospital... however on 24hrs observation.... so pls pray tt nothing happens to him if not, i can prepare to be sent packing liao!!! sigh!!! think recently, i'm overloaded with patients la... my ward to so packed, everyday seems to be admitting ppl into my ward n not discharging them.... sigh!!! wat to do? sob sob sob..........

then some family members of the patients also too much.... ask tis ask tt, come n peep at therapy session... (like so afraid we never bring the patient down for therapy) then some, already see us so busy, still ask tis, ask tt... really frustrating

then back home, i also need to face my mama whose doesn't seem to be happy these few days... then also give black face type! sigh.... then i also need to entertain her... my goodness... everyday come home already so damn tired, still need to stress bout these things! i really got no time for myself... sometimes so fed-up, wan to have some quiet time, also cannot.... sigh!!!!!!!!

Don't worry Avi, we're in the same boat... It's now 2.03am and I'm still struggling to squeeze info into me pathetic, worn out and increasingly necrotic brian... In fact, it's become a rule that Meddies are not supposed to sleep before 2am! Looking at my msn now, most, if not all, of me friends are still online, mugging no doubt.

Haven't stepped out of me apt in a week... Haven't shaved in a week... Haven't done marketing in a week... Haven't seen the sun in a week (due to the constant rain!)... Haven't slept properly in a week... Resorted to taking pills to keep me sleeping for the last few nights. Can't get to sleep no matter how late and whatever sleep I get, me mind just keeps going through all the things I read earlier... and when I can't figure out the answer, I'm forced to wake up to search for it or else I cannot get back to slumberland... Hiaz... And I'm not alone... A recent study showed that >70% of meddies resort to some form of medication to help them sleep. So I'm just one of the normal ones. And before a picture of me lying (unconscious) on me bed with a bottle of (empty) sleeping pills comes to your minds, fear not... I'm only taking anti-histamines. Drowsiness is one of its side effect.

I'm going back to Singapore on the 30th June!!! YAY!!! Can't wait... that's the only thing keeping me sane right now... Must go and have shushi hor!

Then we took a 10 minute track into the jungle, wearing slippers! To get to this rock fall thingy....that wasn't as big as we expected, and the gush of water was only a bit la, but very cold though! Took us a while to get in!
