Hello all! I've just made the reservation for 6 (famous 5 including CH's friend = 6) at Coca Steamboat this Sunday, 1st Feb.

The reservation is at 1pm, they will only hold the table for 15 minutes. DON'T BE LATE okay. It's Hari Raya and the next day will be a public holiday so you can bet that it will be crowded. If they give up the table (like they did at Sakae the last time we met), not so sure we can get a table soon.

So I have to repeat myself, DON'T BE LATE!!! It's pretty irritating that every time we meet, everyone else decides that turning up 1/2 hour - 1 hour later is fine. Because it's not.

Where: Coca Steamboat at Novena Square. I think it's on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Lunch buffet is $18++ per person (right??). I guess it will come up to about $20 per person?

When: 1st of February, Sunday, 1pm

How: Well, hope everyone can turn up eh? We don't need a reason to meet up, but it will be a while before we all get together again, seeing that CH and I will be leaving come Feb.


SO, everyone remember, if you're supposed to be doing something from 1pm-3+pm (tentative) on 1st Feb Sunday, that something would be having lunch with your other 4 friends whom you used to have Math tuition with. Heh.

hey guys got some things to tell you all. first of all this yr i can't celebrate CNY due to my grandma's death last april... haven't one yr yet so cannot celebrate... but you all can still come my house and all... play mahjong or wat lah... :)

another thing is that my appeal to stay back in NUS got rejected... this one andrea's clearer... umm yep so now i'm no longer a student and very very lost... dunno wat to do... my vice dean did mention that i could go australia and finish in a yr and half cause some of my credits here can be transfered over... dunno maybe avi and chonghan can tell me more bout australia? but don't think got money to go cause my sis's starting next yr... either i work and study or i dunno wat... any suggestions guys? to fix my super messed up life?

Ya lah! Egocentric so what?! Yeah, and I conder why I continueto toil everyday? Even my dad, mom and aunt told me to quit. Maybe the quiz is true after all... It's my duty and responsibility to make great CNY cookies for all to enjoy! The boss at Bakery Depot very smart, scared we learn her recipe so she make the dough in advance before we come in and just get us to shape and bake them. But then again, the bakery's cookies are not as good as expected! Think I still make better cookies! Anyone wanna sample some?

And aiya.......i also didn't go anywhere for countdown! At home only lor....why? is tt so sad? Not like our lives have a major big change juz cos it's 2004? And stop complaining abt work! At least u all are doing sthg useful wif ur lives and Chonghan! I wonder who forced u into working!?!?

Heh....damn sianz leh....going thru a kinda pre-quarter year crisis....if u can even call it tt. Maybe cos my future doesn't look entirely bright. Well, 2004 does seem to hold some kinda promise for me....and yet....it's difficult to fulfill cos of so many other factors. Oh...shall stop rambling here. :/

Don't complain... Me getting paid a miserable $5.50/hr. Have to stand from morning till evening, pinching cookie dough, slogging in front of the oven, pipping jam onto cookies and stuff. Thought that I'll be able to learn something if I work in a bakery but too bad everything's prepared before we come in and so, all I learnt was how to operate the ovens and how to shape cookies... Sigh, work unitl legs and arm all tired and sore just for a bit of money, not worth it! Only incentive is the "sampling". Someone had to do the dirty work of ensuring quality... and so I sacrifice loh! Am nuturing a belly here...
And I spent the last few hours of the year baking CNY cookies. So exciting rite..... Sigh... Happy New Year guys!
